Aberdeenshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic Depute Head Teacher to join Clerkhill School in Scotland. The post supports the Head Teacher in leadership and management of school affairs and is part of the Senior Management Team.

The successful candidate will lead policy implementation and contribute to curriculum development to raise educational outcomes, with PVG and pre-employment checks required.

Competenze

• PVG Scheme membership or update check is required.
• Registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS) is expected.
• If teaching qualification is from outside Scotland, GTCS Qualified Outside Scotland process applies.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage whole school policy, its implementation and evaluation.
• Support development of the school curriculum, learning and teaching to improve outcomes.
• Deputise for the Head Teacher when required and advocate for quality service delivery.
