St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School - Deputy Headteacher

September 2025 - Leadership scale 6 - 10 (NOR 202)

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a committed, practising Catholic as an aspirational, strategic, forward-thinking Deputy Headteacher in our Catholic Primary school.

In our nurturing community, our dedicated staff work hard to ensure that all children thrive during their time with us to become confident, successful learners. In July 2023 Ofsted judged us to be a “Good” school offering a safe and happy environment for children to learn. In a 2018 Diocesan S48 Inspection, the school was graded “Outstanding”.

Our school is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates the cultural and ethnic backgrounds of its children. The school’s ethos is grounded on values of respect, empathy, tolerance, and kindness which are reflected in every aspect of the school.

As Deputy Headteacher you will:

  6. Build strong relationships within our school community and local parishes promoting our mission and school values
  7. Support your staff team and continue to advance high quality teaching and learning
  8. Fulfil a 0.5 teaching commitment and lead a core subject.
