  • Manage complex change and transformation projects.
  • Work in effective partnership with all stakeholders to support delivery of strategic priorities and transformation plans.
  • Help to create an organisational culture and systems that support, enable and incentivise positive change and continuous improvement

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent level of experience
  • Supplemented by specialist training to masters or equivalent level or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Considerable experience of managing complex transformation programmes within a organisation
  • Experience of working in a complex, multi-agency environment and across organisational boundaries
  • Experience of developing strategic plans with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Proven expertise in the principles of improvement and transformation an organisation, with hands-on experience in service improvement methodologies and a deep understanding of how to effectively apply them across diverse healthcare settings
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and compare complex facts, opinions and situations
  • Negotiation and influencing skills at a senior management level
  • Successful programme or complex project management experience. A proven track record and demonstrated ability of working collaboratively with a variety of organisational levels to deliver programme goals

It is an exciting time to join the newly formed Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We run two busy hospital sites in Bedford and Luton. Our 7,500 staff provide high quality care for a growing population of around 700,000 across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas.
