Job summary

Medina College in Newport is seeking an experienced senior leader with a strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour, attendance and inclusion. You will challenge others, build positive relationships across the school and translate strategy into tangible, measurable improvements for pupils.

You will demonstrate excellent judgement, resilience and the ability to analyse information and identify priorities, ensuring vulnerable pupils receive the support they need and that outcomes improve.

You will understand that high expectations and effective support are not competing principles, and will be passionate about ensuring that vulnerable pupils and those facing barriers to learning receive the support they need to succeed.
