Join Bromley's integrated primary and community transformation team to be a key part of designing and delivering our whole-system model of care, in ine with One Bromley's strategic plan. Like the wider NHS, Bromley faces growing demand for health services in the future; transformation and improvement is required to ensure the sustainability of primary care and the healthcare system as a whole.
We are seeking to recruit to a pivotal role in our team to lead primary and community care improvement across Bromley. The postholder will be leading the design and delivery of key local and national priorities, providing leadership, guidance and support to team members and work with senior leaders on high profile projects. The postholer will represent the team internally and externally, engaging directly with GPs and other primary care leaders, the LMC and wider health and care stakeholders to bring about successful transformation of primary and community care in the borough.
The postholder will have individual responsibility for business critical projects and discrete work areas, will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy and will be required to engage confidently with internal and external partners. The successful individual will demonstrate their ability to use their subject matter expertise in primary care contracting and commissioning together with their understanding of the primary and community care sector to effect positive change for patients.
As Deputy Head of Primary & Community Care, you will work with senior clinical leaders, healthcare professionals and the public. You will be expected to build close working relationships with GP practices and One Bromley health and care partners. You will be required to use your understanding of healthcare policy, population health management and data-driven approaches in your work.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and technical skills as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, plus an ability to build strong working relationships across the health and care system. They will have a flexible, considered and delivery-focused approach to resolving issues and finding solutions to problems.
