Overview

We’re excited to be recruiting for a passionate and driven Deputy Head of Financial Services to lead our Financial Services team within our Finance & Procurement Business Unit. You will use your expertise to influence innovative mechanisms required in developing and enhancing the Financial Management of the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Financial Services Team in the Finance & Procurement Business Unit (FBU) and work closely with colleagues in the Charities, Accounts Receivable, Tax and Capital teams.
  • Set clear standards and expectations to ensure compliance with professional accountancy standards and practices are met consistently and effectively.
  • Promote high standards to improve patient outcomes in a financial capacity, using evidence to make improvements and seeking innovative ways of working to develop financial solutions.
  • Be commercially astute and drive business growth and improve cash flow.
Qualifications
  • Professional Accountancy qualification (CCAB/CIMA) with current membership registration.
  • Educated to master’s degree level or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Significant management experience.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and work collaboratively across teams to achieve financial objectives.
