A leading healthcare provider in Cambridge is seeking a Deputy Head of Finance for Projects. This role involves supporting the financial management of major projects critical to the organization. The Deputy Head of Finance: Projects has a crucial role in the delivery of major projects across CUH. You will be responsible for supporting and managing the delivery of the financial aspects of major projects at CUH that are critical in enabling the organisation to meet its aims and vision and deliver its strategy. The major projects may be individual projects, stages of a larger project, or work streams of a major projects programme with dependencies on other projects within the major projects programme. The purpose of the post is to support the Head of Finance: Projects along with the wider project team to ensure the production of robust and accurate financial analysis against strict deadlines to support the production of multi-million pound major project business cases. The Projects team comprises 4 posts, working in a matrix structure, across multiple Trust-wide projects including the Cambridge Cancer Research and Cambridge Children\'s Hospitals, and a number of core strategic projects within the Addenbrooke\'s 3 Programme. This post offers a unique and exciting opportunity to help shape and be directly involved in some of the highest priority projects for Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH). Crucial supportive role within the Finance team to ensure delivery of the Major Projects portfolio.
