Job description:

We are recruiting for a Deputy Head of Estates and Facilities at South Devon College. You will maintain an outstanding and safe environment for students, staff, visitors and contractors at all times, assisting with the day-to-day responsibility for cross college Health and Safety and compliance in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures. You will assist with the delivery of hard and soft services, asset management planning and project management of all estates related projects including new capital and refurbishment projects through a combination of in-house staff and outsourced contracts.

The successful candidate will have experience in the mechanical or electrical fields and be in possession of a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent health and safety career experience. You should have relevant knowledge of facilities management practices and managing workloads with good communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with staff and third parties.
