Your Role: Deputy Head of Branded Content

As a Deputy Head of Branded Content at Global, you will help manage a team of high functioning Branded Content Radio Producers, working on some of Global’s biggest radio networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will manage some direct reports and ensure excellence across the whole Branded Content process from ideation to implementation
  • You will come up with world class ideas that meet the needs of our clients but also work brilliantly for our radio brands and audiences.
  • You will support the team to deliver projects and deliver some larger scale ones yourself.
  • You will build strong relationships with Senior Stakeholders across the Broadcast and Content & Commercial Teams, supporting both departments in equal measure

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Taken on direct reports, agreeing ways of working with them from regular one to ones to development plans.
  • Built strong relationships with the team in Commercial, Broadcasting and Content.
  • Contributed to some integrated partnerships across multiple brands and helped secure future campaigns.
  • Worked closely with the other Deputy Head of Branded Content to allocate projects and help create a sense of connection and positivity across the 2 teams.

What You’ll Need

  • You will need management, communication and influencing skills, as well as a creative flair and the ability to juggle many projects at once.
  • You will ideally come from a strong radio background, with a strong understanding of broadcast.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing, coaching and developing an individual or team
  • Experience in generating creative solutions to meet client briefs and to engage listeners.
  • Experience of presenting and comm with the aim of galvanising vision and purpose.
  • The ability to balance the needs of many stakeholders and engage with them in a positive way.
  • Coaching and Development: Nurturing talent by empowering and guiding individuals to unlock their potential.
  • Building Trust: Creating and maintaining an inclusive environment where diverse views and experiences are welcomed and celebrated in your team.
