Job Title: Deputy Head Housekeeper

Salary: OTE £14.03- per hour, including tronc.

We are currently looking for a Deputy Head Housekeeper to support our Head Housekeeper with the efficient running of our housekeeping team.

Some may say the housekeeping team are the backbone of the hotel operation. For our team, it is not just about making beds; it is about having an eye for detail and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

As Deputy Head Housekeeper, you will assist the Head Housekeeper by supporting and developing a team of Room Attendants and Linen Porters. Your responsibilities include setting an example, encouraging development, and conducting monthly performance reviews. You will be proactive and hands-on, leading from the front to maintain high standards across all hotel areas.

Daily duties involve preparing and maintaining cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas. In the absence of the Head Housekeeper, you will ensure the condition of furnishings, fittings, and equipment. You will also liaise with the maintenance team and manage linen, deliveries, and stock.

Experience as a Deputy Head Housekeeper or in a similar role is preferred.
