A prestigious educational institution in Croydon is seeking a Deputy Head (Academic) to play a pivotal role in the strategic development of the school. The successful candidate will lead the academic team, contribute to the overall strategy, and ensure high academic standards. The next Deputy Head (Academic) will play a pivotal role in the strategic development of Whitgift School and particularly the academic strand of its plans, alongside the Headmaster and the rest of the Executive Team. The Deputy Head (Academic) is a major strategic position within the School's leadership structure and the successful candidate will be expected to lead and develop the academic life of the School, as well as contribute positively to whole school strategy. The appointee will report to the Headmaster and lead and line manage the Senior Academic Team which comprises the Deputy Head (Academic) and four members of the Senior Leadership Team.
