Role Responsibilities:

  • Organize and supervise the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations
  • Manage the efficient and effective operation of the unit, ensuring quality service
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food to the required standards
  • Utilize resources, including stock, team members, and assets, efficiently and economically

Additional Duties:

  • Understand and fulfill contractual obligations
  • Communicate client changes and feedback to management
  • Promote the unit and act as a brand ambassador
  • Ensure correct implementation of promotions and pricing
  • Manage costs, including food wastage, purchasing, and labor scheduling
  • Maintain stock levels and meet customer expectations

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience with food service and people management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Operational experience in conference and banqueting sectors
  • Computer literacy and basic Food Hygiene certification
  • Minimum 3 years catering experience with good financial acumen
