Our stunning Harbour Hotel Southampton is looking for an Operations Manager to join the team, overseeing the thriving operational departments of this 120-bedroom hotel with two restaurants, a busy meetings and events space, and a luxury spa.

As part of Harbour Hotels' commitment to internal development, this role is a stepping stone to becoming a General Manager. It would ideally suit a senior experienced Head of Department within a large property looking to progress into their first Operations Manager role, or an existing Operations Manager seeking a larger, more prestigious hotel with ambitions to become a General Manager.

This 5-star hotel in the luxury lifestyle sector requires an ideal candidate with a good understanding of service delivery, team development, and managing all commercial aspects of a busy and successful hotel. Leadership skills are essential to motivate and inspire a strong team of department heads, ensuring targets are met and exceeded, while being a true people’s champion.

The candidate should have previous hotel operations experience, demonstrating success in managing high-volume F&B, large events, and knowledge of front office, rooms, and spa operations, with a view to becoming a future General Manager in the luxury hospitality sector.

The Role

Oversee operational departments of the hotel, including F&B, events, front office, rooms, and spa.
