Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Innis & Gunn Glasgow City Centre

Now, we’re looking for a Deputy General Manager to be the GM’s right-hand person and help lead our largest venue in Glasgow City Centre. Think of it as being the ultimate wingman: keeping things smooth, the team energised, and the guests coming back for more.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading from the front—running shifts with the team, not just overseeing them.
• Creating an environment where the team feels supported, trained, and motivated to deliver brilliant service.
• Working closely with your GM to keep everything ticking along behind the scenes—managing stock, keeping an eye on the numbers, and making sure we hit (and beat) our targets.
• Rolling up your sleeves and doing what it takes to keep the venue running smoothly and guests feeling well looked after.

What we’re looking for:

• You’ve got solid experience running a fast-paced pub, bar, or restaurant—and you’re great with people.
• You know how to manage a team, solve problems on the fly, and make a busy Saturday night look easy.
• You care about the guest experience just as much as the bottom line—and you’ve got the leadership skills to make both thrive.
• You’re organised, numbers-savvy, and not afraid to get into the detail on stock, training, or rotas.
• You get that weekends, evenings, and holidays are when the magic happens—and you're happy to be part of it.
