Job Overview

You will manage the safe operation of Chelsea & Westminster Hospital's Mechanical & Electrical systems, ensuring compliance and exceeding customer expectations. Your responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a team, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring smooth contract delivery.

Main Duties

  • Oversee PPM and reactive works, including statutory compliance.
  • Manage HV & LV installations, including authorised persons and switching schedules.
  • Handle quotations, repairs, specialist sub-contractor orders, and completion certificates.
  • Maintain records, budget control, and Forward Maintenance Register.
  • Manage team training, PPE, and stock control.
  • Ensure Health & Safety and COSHH compliance.
  • Attend performance management meetings with clients.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Building Services (supervisory role).
  • Strong management, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • HNC/ONC in Building Services Engineering with electrical content.
  • LV & HV Authorised Person qualified.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CAFM systems.
