An established not-for-profit provider is seeking a compassionate Deputy Care Manager to lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional care to elderly clients. Location: Working across Shotover View & Isis Court Extra Care Housing Schemes
Rate of pay: £16.52 per hour
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Do you have experience working in elderly care and a passion to make a difference? Can you lead a small team to deliver outstanding care while encouraging them to do their best? We have a great opportunity for a Deputy Care Manager at Shotover View and Isis Court in Oxford.
Our Extra Care Housing schemes feature self-contained apartments designed to help clients live independently. Our care teams support clients with daily tasks around the clock, ensuring they feel secure, dignified, and independent.
Your professionalism, kindness, and compassion will be at the core of your work. Supporting the Domiciliary Care Manager, you'll manage the daily running of the domiciliary care service, review care plans regularly, and balance team support with client wellbeing.
Ideally with, or working towards, a Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with a proven track record in caring for vulnerable individuals. Previous supervisory experience in health and social care, including managing rotas, payroll, performance reviews, interviews, and inductions, is essential. You should be confident working independently, using your initiative to resolve problems.
Access to transport is required as you may need to travel to other schemes upon request. You will also be part of the on-call rota.
