Job summary

Proud to Care Devon recherche un Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager pour superviser la qualité des soins à domicile tout en soutenant l'indépendance et le bien-être des bénéficiaires. Ce rôle de direction pratique offre des opportunités de développement professionnel, avec la possibilité d'évoluer vers un poste de Service Manager ou Registered Manager. Vous serez en charge de gérer le personnel, de garantir la conformité aux normes de soins et d'établir des relations solides avec les utilisateurs des services et leurs familles.

Qualifications

  • Expérience dans un rôle senior ou de supervision dans les soins à domicile.
  • Connaissance approfondie des normes CQC et des procédures de protection.
  • Permis de conduire UK complet et accès à un véhicule exigés.

Job description

As the Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee care delivery, supervise staff, and maintain high standards in line with CQC expectations. This hands-on leadership role offers real scope for professional development and impact with the potential to become Service Manager/Registered Manager in the future.

What We’re Looking For
  • Level 5 or above in Health and Social Care
  • Experience in a senior or supervisory role within domiciliary/home care (essential)
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • A proactive, inclusive, and person-focused management approach

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service
Lead, support, and mentor care staff to deliver safe, person-centred care
Ensure ongoing compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and CQC regulations
Support with rota management, care planning, recruitment, training, and performance reviews
Maintain strong working relationships with service users, families, and external partners
Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and service development
Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Registered Manager
