Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Deputy Divisional Chief Nurse with a dedicated Urgent and Emergency Care portfolio to lead the Medicine Division’s nursing strategy and transformation.

You will work closely with the Divisional Chief Nurse, Divisional Medical Director and Divisional Operations Director to drive improvements in patient flow, quality, safety and workforce development across urgent care pathways.

Qualifications

• Senior nursing leader with experience in urgent and emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership across the Medicine Division with a focus on urgent and emergency care services.
• Oversee nursing quality, patient safety, governance and workforce initiatives across urgent and emergency care pathways.
• Deputise for the Divisional Chief Nurse as required and contribute to strategic and operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and system partners to improve patient flow and clinical outcomes.
