Job description

Venn Group are currently exclusively partnered with a leading Housing Association based in Oxfordshire who are looking for a Deputy Director of Finance to join the team. As the Deputy Director of Finance you will act as the number two in the Finance team and will be responsible for managing the day to day activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and regulatory returns.

Job title: Deputy Director of Finance

Location: Oxfordshire

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £90,000 per annum

Duties:

  1. Provide leadership across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting and ensure the organisation can meet their strategic objectives.
  2. Review and advise on financial business plans and provide a clear update on cashflow and performance.
  3. Prepare year-end financial statements, liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
  4. Efficiently manage the payroll function.
  5. Manage a team of 4 and provide necessary training and development.
  6. Ensure finance systems and processes run efficiently and effectively.
  7. Collaborate with senior leaders across the organisation, assisting with reports, developing financial strategies and promoting values.

Experience:

  1. Qualified Accountant (E.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  2. Previous experience working in the Social Housing sector.
  3. Previous experience managing a finance function.
