About the Role

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is embarking on an exciting new chapter in our People Directorate. We are recruiting for a Deputy Director of DEI & OD, one of four newly created senior roles, to help shape and deliver our ambitious Brilliant People Strategy and Culture Transformation Programme. Reporting directly to the newly appointed Director of DEI & OD, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead transformational change, drive inclusive leadership and talent development, and embed equity and compassion across our organisation. This is a fantastic stepping stone for an aspirational future Director, offering the scope, visibility and strategic impact to take your career to the next level.

About You

We are looking for a dynamic, strategic leader with:

  • Extensive senior‑level experience in DEI, OD, and leadership development
  • A strong track record of delivering cultural change and organisational development
  • The ability to influence across systems and build effective stakeholder relationships
  • A commitment to inclusive, compassionate leadership and improving population health

You will be a key member of the Senior People Team, working collaboratively across the Trust, the Integrated Care System (ICS), and regional and national networks.
