This is an exciting opportunity to become Deputy Director of Corporate Service at one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Business/Trust Board Secretary, you will lead on a range of corporate governance-related programmes of work and lead the Trust’s Executive Directors’ Business Administration team. The role is ideal for a knowledgeable and experienced individual looking to progress their career in governance within a complex organisation.
Your ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and your sense of purpose and commitment to achieving results, combined with the gravitas to influence people, will be essential in the role. Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and improvement opportunities, you will work with senior leaders across the Trust to ensure there are robust and functioning governance structures and processes in place to support the Trust to deliver our ambitious organisational strategy and remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. You’ll be highly professional and diligent with the maturity, calmness, and discretion to operate within a pressurised environment.
The main duties of the role are to:
