A regional health service provider is seeking a Deputy Director for Learning & Improvement Networks. You will oversee strategic development and operational delivery within the NHS Impact Improvement framework, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance patient flow. Ideal candidates will have experience in management and facilitation, and be passionate about healthcare improvement. This role is essential for driving clinical excellence across multiple care areas.
We are recruiting a Deputy Director for East of England Learning & Improvement Networks & NHS Impact to join our East of England Regional Learning & Improvement Networks team.
You will work as part of a dynamic team to provide strategic direction, operational management, and improvement expertise to support the delivery of the objectives and outcomes of the Networks and the embedding of an improvement approach regionally. You will lead the NHS Impact Improvement approach across the East of England, focusing on the three Learning & Improvement Networks: Elective Care, Urgent and Emergency Care, and Mental Health. This includes the strategic development, operational delivery, and evaluation of Network objectives, ensuring alignment with national and regional priorities.
The role involves planning and delivering virtual and face-to-face activities, developing workshop content with subject matter experts, and embedding an improvement approach with a clear methodology, particularly in relation to measurement. You will be confident with group facilitation and event management. You will manage key stakeholder relationships at Provider, System, and Regional levels and be responsible for reporting to the National and Regional Executive Teams.

We are working in partnership with East of England Learning & Improvement Networks, part of the NHSE Clinical & Operational Excellence Programme established in September 2024.
The Networks are designed for operational and clinical leaders in Elective Care, Urgent and Emergency Care, and Mental Health, including primary, community care, and ambulance services.
The LINs provide infrastructure to facilitate collaboration and sharing of best practices using an improvement approach. The primary aim is to support and accelerate improvement initiatives that demonstrate tangible patient flow improvements. Key activities include online networks, face-to-face learning events, and data-driven insights using comparative data for improvement.
