Neale-Wade Academy, March, Cambridgeshire, seeks a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to protect and support young people. You will work with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to coordinate safeguarding and respond to concerns with care and professionalism.
This fixed-term role runs until October 2027, is 30 hours per week across 38 weeks, with a 09:30–16:00 pattern, Monday–Friday. You will maintain safeguarding records, advise staff, and strengthen safeguarding as everyone’s responsibility.

Salary (Actual): ALT Grade G - £21,726.62 to £24,115.83

We are looking for a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to play a pivotal role in protecting and supporting young people at Neale-Wade Academy, a caring and ambitious 11 to 18 academy at the heart of the March community.
Working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, this role sits at the centre of the academy’s safeguarding provision, coordinating support for vulnerable learners, building trusted relationships with families and external agencies, and helping to ensure that every concern is acted upon with care and professionalism.
