A UK College is looking for a Deputy Supervisor and Administrator for its College Shop in Truro. The role involves supporting shop operations like stock management and customer service, requiring strong organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have retail experience and good IT skills. We are looking for a reliable, proactive individual with strong organisational and customer service skills to support the running of our busy College Shop.
As Deputy Supervisor and Administrator, you’ll assist with day-to-day shop operations including stock control, ordering, customer service, and point of sale processes. You will also play a key role in maintaining accurate stock records, liaising with suppliers, and supporting the team in the absence of the Shop Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in retail or stock management
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise under pressure
• Confidence using IT systems and learning new procedures
