Deputy Clinical Team Manager - AnDY Clinic

Are you a dedicated and experienced clinician seeking a new challenge and leadership development opportunity?

We are hiring a Deputy Clinical Team Manager for the Anxiety and Depression in Young People Clinic (Oxon Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services - CAMHS). You will support the Clinical Team Manager by handling both clinical and operational responsibilities to ensure high-quality services for children and young people.

Our team is well-established and continuously working to enhance accessibility, responsiveness, and quality of care for children, young people, and their families.

You will join a leadership team that meets regularly, working collaboratively in a supportive environment with coaching and mentoring opportunities.

Main duties of the job
  • Conduct mental health and risk assessments for children and young people within the AnDY Team.
  • Collaborate with families and external agencies to develop holistic, evidence-based care plans.
  • Manage a small clinical caseload, providing key working and interventions in a hybrid working model (office and remote).
  • Assist the Clinical Team Manager with operational tasks, including staff supervision, case management, and deputising when necessary.
  • Participate in service development from planning to evaluation.

Job responsibilities

The AnDY Research Clinic is a collaborative initiative focusing on developing innovative early interventions for children and young people with mental health difficulties, supported by the NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre. It offers brief, evidence-based treatments for ages 5-17 with anxiety, depression, or OCD, typically lasting 6-8 sessions, delivered in person or online by trained practitioners under supervision.

Training and qualifications
