Job description

We are looking for a Deputy Clinical Lead to join our existing team. The successful applicant will hold a clinical caseload providing assessment and treatment to patients experiencing common mental health problems as well as supporting a small team of senior therapists to deliver the service.

The successful applicant will be based in the UK and working fully remotely.

Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 per annum

40 hours per week Monday to Friday

Your success will contribute to the continued growth of the Mental Health service.

We are looking for our new Deputy Clinical Lead to be a team player, communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing, manage time to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment, and be motivated to contribute to helping thousands each year.

Responsibilities
  1. Carry line management responsibilities for senior psychological therapists. Senior psychological therapists hold a clinical caseload and manage a small team of psychological therapists.
  2. Support the Service Lead and Clinical Operations Manager to ensure that SLAs are maintained, including managing capacity and ensuring that staff utilization is maintained at 90%.
  3. Assist in recruitment, appointment, and coordination of inductions for new staff.
  4. Support senior therapists to achieve service KPIs while ensuring session numbers and staff utilization are managed.
  5. Carry out mental health duty cover, supporting with general queries, clinical report checks, and risk escalation.
  6. Ensure that audit feedback is disseminated to senior therapists and improvement plans are implemented where necessary.
