Job summary

RJAH NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Deputy Chief Digital and Information Officer to join its senior leadership team. You will shape and deliver the digital vision, ensuring high-quality, secure and resilient services that support patient care and organisational performance.

Reporting to the CIO, you will drive strategic change, champion innovation, and use technology and data to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent senior leadership experience.
• Relevant management or specialist technical qualification.
• Expert-level service management qualification (ITIL) or equivalent.
• Experience leading digital, technology or information services in a large organisation.
• Experience delivering transformation programmes within complex environments.
• Broad technical knowledge across IT operations, architecture, cyber security, data and governance.

Responsibilities

• Support the CIO in delivering the digital strategy and roadmap.
• Provide leadership across Digital and Information Services to ensure secure, resilient services.
• Lead major digital transformation initiatives and service improvement programs.
• Build strong relationships with clinical, operational and executive stakeholders.
• Act as Deputy Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) and support cyber security and governance.
• Drive data and analytics capability to underpin evidence-based decisions.
