Interaction Health and Social Care - Deputy Children's Home Manager

Interaction Health and Social Care are seeking a Deputy Children's Home Manager in Northampton.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Residential Care homes. We are looking for a Deputy Manager who is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for our young people.

No two days are the same; some may be challenging, but they will always be positive and rewarding. This role includes doing sleep-in shifts.

What you will need to succeed
  • Report to the Registered Manager and support all aspects of day-to-day operations, including managing budgets to ensure business viability and exceeding KPIs for people, quality, and performance.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage staff and resources to ensure high standards of service, exceeding regulatory standards.
  • Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
  • Diploma Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care Children and Young People, or equivalent, or a commitment to work towards.
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience within a children's home.
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of Ofsted regulations.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and legislation.
  • Strong, energetic leadership skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Organized and able to multitask.
