Qualifications

  • Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day operations of the home.
  • Lead, guide, and supervise the care team to deliver exceptional care.
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding procedures.

We're looking for a dedicated Deputy Childrens Home Manager to join our 3-bed residential home in Romford, supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a rewarding leadership role where you'll make a genuine impact every day.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day operations of the home

  • Lead, guide, and supervise the care team to deliver exceptional care

  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding procedures

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals

  • Take charge in the Registered Manager's absence, maintaining stability and quality of care
What We're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (Level 5 is a plus)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a children's residential care setting

  • Solid knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory requirements

  • Confident communicator with natural leadership skills

  • A calm, consistent, and empathetic role model who leads by example
