What You'll Do
  • Work as Deputy Manager alongside the Registered Manager to provide strong leadership.
  • Lead and support a dedicated care team to deliver therapeutic, child-centred care.
  • Mentor and supervise staff, ensuring every team member thrives under your guidance as Deputy Manager.
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager, including on-call duties and chairing meetings.
  • Take ownership of safeguarding, compliance, care planning, and professional record-keeping.
  • Build trusted relationships with young people, families, social workers, and schools.
  • Support with rotas, budgets, reports, and audits, acting as Deputy Manager who keeps the home running smoothly.
  • Champion a safe, inclusive, and aspirational culture within the home.
What We're Looking For
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience supervising staff in a children's residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulations, and Ofsted standards.
  • A confident leader with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility for on-call and shift work.
  • Driving licence (preferred).
