I have an amazing opportunity for a Deputy Manager for a Children's Activity Centre, supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

  • Salary: £35,631.96 - £37,112.40
  • Location: Arthog, Gwynedd
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Shift pattern: 9 am - 5 pm - Monday to Friday

As a Deputy Children's Home Manager:

  • You will be part of a team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people.
  • You will provide the care and support needed for each child. You will act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs, whilst building trusting relationships.
  • You'll support children and young people aged 8-18 with emotional behaviours, in a residential children's activity centre setting. You'll support the young people to learn the skills they need to build successful lives.

What you will need to be a successful Children's Residential Activity Worker:

  • You must be a car driver, as you will be required to transport young people.
  • 1 year's experience working in a residential childcare setting at a Senior level - ESSENTIAL
  • You must be over the age of 22 - ESSENTIAL
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children & Young People) - ESSENTIAL
