Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Children’s Home Manager to join our team in a 4-bed CSE home located between Telford and Newport. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact in a supportive and professionally rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home

  • Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding are maintained

  • Lead, mentor and supervise a team of residential care staff

  • Assist in developing care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies

  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and other relevant legislation

  • Promote a therapeutic, safe, and nurturing environment for young people affected by CSE

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Deputy Manager in a residential children’s home

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and working with young people affected by CSE

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Children and Young People’s Workforce – Level 5 desirable

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as needed
