Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Children's Home Manager to join our 3-bed EBD home in Oswestry. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 5 qualification or be actively working towards it. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality care and safeguarding standards for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and leading the care team to provide exceptional care and support for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in care planning and risk assessments to promote the welfare and development of residents.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, their families, and external agencies.
- Support the Home Manager in administrative tasks and staff management, including recruitment, training, and development.

Requirements:
- Level 5 qualification or working towards completing Level 5.
- Experience in a similar role within a children's residential setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
