Job description

Job Title: Children's Home Deputy Manager
Location: Colchester, Essex
Salary: £40,280 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join a small, nurturing children's home in Colchester, Essex. This home provides high-quality care and support to 2 children in a 2-bedded home. The role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to support the management of the home, ensuring both the children and staff team thrive.

Contract Details:
  • Salary: £40,280 per annum
  • Welcome Bonus: £2,000
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the needs of the children are met
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
  • Assist with staff recruitment and team management
  • Contribute to the development and review of care plans
  • Ensure the home is compliant with OFSTED and company standards
  • Provide bespoke, tailored support for the children to ensure their well-being and development
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in children's services
  • Full UK driving licence
