Location: Walsall - Small 3-bed EBD Home

Salary: Up to GBP35,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager to join our dedicated team in a small 3-bed Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in children's residential services, specifically in an EBD setting, and a passion for therapeutic care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Implement and monitor individualized care plans, promoting therapeutic approaches to meet the emotional and behavioral needs of the children.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of care staff, fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding.
- Liaise with external agencies, families, and professionals to support the holistic development and well-being of the children.
- Assist with budget management and resource allocation to optimize service delivery.
