To qualify for this role, you must have the following skill sets:

1. Level 3 qualification in children and young people, working towards your level 5.
2. Experience working in a child care environment.
3. Full UK driving licence.
4. DBS check for child and adult.
5. Experience working within the guidelines of the CQC and OFSTED regarding policies and procedures.

It is paramount to this role to connect with young people in an environment that is out of their comfort zone, gaining a relationship built on trust and support. You will also need to build rapport with family members and external companies to ensure the best quality of care and best practices are at the forefront of your mind.
