Quantum Care is a not for profit company providing high quality care services for over 2000 older people in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. Part time – Weekdays & alternate weekends

Your Skills:

Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices in the workplace.
Knowledge of food safety and practices.
Need to undertake relevant training and CPD.
Experience of the standards of hygiene used in food preparation.
Experience of food preparation, cooking and service.
You’ll provide homely meals for our residents, meeting a diverse range of dietary requirements.
You must be able to work well as part of a team and have good communications skills.
Responsibilities

Daily kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining high culinary standards.
Support kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance team performance.
Manage food production processes, ensuring efficient workflow and quality control.
Maintain inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
