An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of the country's leading selective schools, (awarded The Sunday Times Parent Power East Anglia State Secondary School of the Decade), to work in our friendly and supportive catering team.

As Deputy Catering Manager, you will assist our Catering Manager in a busy kitchen environment, preparing high quality, nutritious food from scratch to an excellent standard.

You will be confident covering managerial tasks at times of peak demand or when the Catering Manager is absent, including leading the team. You will need to be able to work towards a kitchen business plan, support with menu planning and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures. You will also possess outstanding people skills and be well organised.

The working hours will be within the hours of 7am - 3.30pm three days a week, days and exact timings to be agreed with the successful candidate. Term time only, including inset days, plus additional hours for ad hoc events.
