DEPUTY CARE MANAGER & TEAM LEADER - CHILDREN'S HOME

We are seeking an experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager and a Team Leader to work in the children's care sector (EBD, LD, autism). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenge and the opportunity to help a company grow and to ensure the lives of the children are fully supported with excellent levels of care.

The Role:
Your role will include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of care services for children, delivering high levels of care in line with regulations
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Ofsted
  • Managing staff and resources effectively
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans
  • Liaising with families and healthcare professionals
  • Assessments, supervisions, and overall management of the support workers
  • Following policies and procedures

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the roles should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in healthcare - level 3 or working towards it
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children
  • Ofsted experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A strong character and good communication abilities
  • A reflective leadership style
  • A desire to develop their own style of management
  • A willingness to work closely with the regional managers to develop growth plans for the service
  • Experience as a deputy manager or senior/team lead in the children's sector
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including some nights
