Deputy Home Manager - West Hallam
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Location: West Hallam, Derbyshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, medium-sized residential care home in West Hallam, known for its welcoming atmosphere and Good CQC rating. This home provides a supportive environment for both residents and staff, with a strong focus on person-centred care.

We're seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Home Manager to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in elderly care who is passionate about high-quality service delivery and team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing staff rotas, recruitment, training and performance management
  2. Supporting the Home Manager with compliance, audits and quality standards
  3. Leading by example to ensure the wellbeing and dignity of all residents
  4. Assisting with occupancy growth and cost-effective care delivery

About you:
  1. Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), with willingness to work towards Level 4/5
  2. Experience in a supervisory or management role within a care home setting
  3. Excellent communication and organisational skills
  4. A team player with a hands-on approach and commitment to best practices
