Purosearch are looking for a passionate Deputy Manager to join a developing care provider based in Devon for their residential service in Newton Abbot.

The home is owned by an award-winning small provider who is dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centred care. They are looking for an experienced care lead, team leader, unit manager, or deputy manager to take on the role of Deputy Care Home Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspire your staff and lead them to provide the highest standards of care
2. Oversee all aspects of the delivery of care, care plans, and medication management
3. Maintain Quality & Compliance
4. Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home and step up when needed
5. Build relationships with residents, families, and professionals.

Deputy Care Home Manager Requirements:

1. Experience as a Senior Carer, Team Leader, or Deputy Manager in a care setting with the ability to inspire and support a team.
2. Passion for Care with high standards and expectations
3. Knowledge and experience of care planning
4. Good communication skills, able to build relationships with staff, residents, and their families
5. NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Health & Social Care preferred.
