Gullane Primary School has undergone a building expansion to reflect the increase in local housing. The school has 11 classes (a mix of straight and composite), and a custom-built nursery operating on a 48-week model to meet the provision of 1140 hours entitlement.

Job Details

The Depute Head Teacher assists and, where necessary, deputises for the Head Teacher. The Head Teacher manages the school’s affairs to benefit pupils and the community, following objectives and policies set by East Lothian Council under the guidance of the Head of Education.

Full GTCS Registration is required.

PVG Membership
This role is considered a Regulated Role with vulnerable groups, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
