Roles that require PVG Membership
Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023, roles requiring PVG membership will require candidates to meet the cost, applicable only to roles with a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above, currently £30,285 per annum / £16.64 per hour).
The Council will initially pay for the PVG membership cost, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members or £59 for non-members, deducted from the employee's first full month's salary.
Job Purpose/About The Role
To support the leadership and management of the school/service, enabling the delivery of quality education through appropriate involvement of pupils, staff, parents, multi-disciplinary agencies, and the community, in accordance with the Authority's Strategic Plan, the school's Development Plan, National Priorities, Local Improvement Objectives, current legislation, and within national and local agreements.
