About The Role

As a Depot Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of Islington Council's Corporate Facilities Management team. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will oversee the waste and recycling centre’s site facilities, assist with minor repairs, and manage administrative functions such as help desk duties, site patrols, and safety systems. Your role involves working shifts, operating complex machinery, ensuring health and safety compliance,cleaning of site and supporting the upkeep of IT systems. With a focus on collaboration and customer service, you’ll help deliver high-quality, efficient service outcomes while promoting a safe, clean, and secure environment.
