A leading parcel delivery company is seeking a Depot People & Finance Specialist in Dundee. In this role, you'll manage budgets, oversee HR processes, and support team success. Ideal candidates should have financial or bookkeeping experience, strong analytical skills, and be confident with IT tools like Excel. The position offers a friendly team atmosphere with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Some financial or bookkeeping experience (formal qualifications are a bonus but not essential).
• Strong analytical skills with a good eye for detail.
• Confident with IT especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in a busy team environment.
• Good communication and people skills someone who's approachable and professional.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Depot General Manager to manage budgets and identify ways to save money.
• Keep a close eye on depot costs and trends.
• Ensure purchase orders are raised on time.
• Manage admin, finance, and HR processes.
• Support people through pay queries and absence reviews.
• Champion local communications to keep the whole team informed.

Evri is looking for a friendly, organised, and driven Depot People & Finance Specialist to help us build something great from the ground up!

As our Depot People & Finance Specialist, youll be the heart of our depots financial, and people processes. Reporting directly to the Depot General Manager, youll help manage budgets, monitor costs, support recruitment, and make sure our admin and HR systems run smoothly. Your insights will help the team make smart decisions and keep things running efficiently.

• Partnerwith the Depot General Manager to manage budgets and identify ways to save money without compromising on quality
• Keepa close eye on depot costs and trends to spot opportunities and potential risks
• Makesure purchase orders are raised on time and within budget
• Manageadmin, finance, and HR processes including training colleagues on new systems
• Bethe expert on our reporting tools and HR platforms like Flash, EVRi, UKG, and MyHR
• Supportour people through pay queries, absence reviews, and recruitment follow-ups
• Championlocal communications to keep the whole team informed and engaged
  
  

Essential skills and experience required:

• Some financial or bookkeeping experience (formal qualifications are a bonus but not essential)
