Job summary

Sasse is recruiting a full-time PCV Shunter for Arriva at Stockton Bus Depot (TS18 3AW). The role covers depot movements, vehicle checks and on-site duties, with 37.5 hours per week from 5pm to 1am.

No formal qualifications are required, and full UK PCV (D) driving licence is essential. You will move and park buses, conduct visual checks, follow health and safety procedures, and use digital reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Full UK PCV (D category) driving licence is required.
• No formal qualifications are needed.

Responsibilities

• Process the vehicles on their return to the depot.
• Move and manoeuvre vehicles/buses within the depot and on public roads according to instructions.
• Conduct visual checks for damage, report issues, ensure windows are closed before buses enter the wash.
• Follow health and safety procedures and instructions.
• Use digital reporting tools and perform banksman duties where trained.
• Take on additional site duties in line with General Service Operative duties.
• Deliver timely, efficient and courteous service on customer sites.
