About the Role

Responsible for managing pick sheet orders from warehouse staff and management, accurately selecting inventory from shelves to fulfil orders. Tasks include packing orders, shrink-wrapping items onto pallets, and loading them onto trucks for timely delivery. Ensures all orders are correct, maintains up-to-date inventory records, and contributes to efficient warehouse operations. Additionally, delivers goods to customer premises, verifies delivery accuracy, obtains signed documentation, and collects any returned items.

You Will Be Responsible For

1. Manage picking sheets to ensure accurate order fulfilment.
2. Select warehouse items based on specifications such as size, colour, quantity, and quality.
3. Verify order accuracy before processing for delivery.
4. Prepare and stage items appropriately for dispatch.
5. Operate handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
6. Plan and oversee product storage, replenishment, and dispatch.
7. Monitor stock control systems to process specific orders efficiently.
8. Ensure warehouse targets and performance goals are achieved.
9. Maintain compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
10. Securely shrink-wrap products onto pallets for shipment.
11. Load delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
12. Deliver goods to customer premises, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
13. Assist driver operatives as needed.
14. Verify goods with customers and ensure documentation is completed accurately.
15. Pack warehouse orders as required to support team operations.
16. Utilise scanners to ensure accurate inventory management and order picking.
17. Perform general warehouse duties and other tasks as required.
18. Driving the transit van when required.

You Will Need

Essential

1. Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and inventory management.
2. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
3. Capability to remain standing and active for extended periods.
4. Positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
5. Self-motivated and able to take initiative in completing tasks.
6. A strong focus on safety and adherence to workplace safety protocols.
7. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with customers.
9. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
10. Driving Licence.

1. Previous experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
