Job Title: Depot Operative

Location: Redditch

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30

Pay Rate: £12.44 per hour

Job Role

As our Depot Operative, you’ll be planning and managing the production of signage, preparing picking lists for traffic management signage, loading and unloading pallets with a forklift truck, cages, and vehicles, and occasionally driving our clients' van to collect items.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring machinery, traffic management equipment, signage, racking, benches, and pallets are clean, tidy, and fit for purpose.
• Safely operate the depot FLT and pallet truck for transporting heavy loads around the production hub.
• Prepare all signs for re-use.
• Apply laminate wording, patches, and symbols to sign plates.
• Check that all required signs/traffic management equipment are loaded correctly.
• Direct and support team members working in the production hub.

Experience Required

• Warehouse experience (1-year preferable)
• Forklift Truck certification – desirable
• Full UK driving license
• Basic IT skills (MS Office and role-specific applications)
