Full Time | Permanent

As a Depot Operative, you will be responsible for picking, assembling, completing, and loading customer orders to the required specifications, ensuring all orders are delivered accurately. The role also involves multi-drop deliveries using our commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and assemble orders according to the warehouse training programme standards
  • Ensure high accuracy when picking customer orders
  • Maintain efficiency and utilization as per performance criteria
  • Follow health and safety regulations, maintain safe working practices, and undertake necessary training
  • Communicate effectively to foster positive relationships with colleagues and embody PPG values
  • Pick items and load the van for daily deliveries
  • Coordinate deliveries efficiently and keep necessary records
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships
  • Report any issues related to goods or services to the Branch Supervisor promptly
  • Collect and securely store accurate payments from customers as advised
  • Utilize route planning and ePod software for deliveries
Qualifications
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use relevant IT equipment and complete required training
  • Organized with the ability to plan daily routes
  • Structured approach to tasks and ability to meet customer ETA’s
  • Physically fit to manually handle up to 20kg
