Job description

This role is 40 hours per week, working any 5 in 6 days (closed Sundays).

The Depot Operations Supervisor reports to the Retail Sales & Operations Manager (RSOM), who has overall responsibility for the depot and service across:

  • Customer Services
  • Delivery fleet
  • Cold store Warehouse

£14.00 per hour + bonus + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an integral member of the leadership team, modelling passion and commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Drive the delivery of established processes and operational standards.
  • Monitor team performance against daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Develop operational performance and team skills.
  • Manage health & safety, stock, delivery fleet, and facilities.
  • Participate in day-to-day tasks, including deliveries (full UK driving license essential).

This role offers an opportunity to grow management skills and gain diverse business delivery experience.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Supervisory experience leading and motivating teams.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Confidence with IT systems.
  • Influencing and KPI understanding.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK manual driving license held for at least 2 years.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in retail, wholesale, customer service, or logistics.
  • Knowledge of P&L and budget management.
  • Health & safety and food safety training.
  • Coaching and team development experience.
  • Operational policies implementation experience.
